Situated in Southsea, Percy Place is a beautifully refurbished, 1 bedroom apartment with modern, fitted kitchen and open plan living space. As you step into the apartment there is storage on your right-hand side, leading to a cosy double bedroom, with access out to the courtyard, as well as a shower room with double shower cubicle. Turning right will take you into the reception room consisting of open plan kitchen/dining and a living area. A well-equipped kitchen includes an oven, a 4-ring gas hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes. Providing the comfort of a modern hotel, with free Wi-Fi, flat screen smart TV, Netflix and hotel quality linen.
Close to Southsea shopping and nightlife, we believe the accommodation is ideal for business and leisure travellers alike and will comfortably suit 2 people but will sleep up to 4.
Guest access is self-check-in via key safe. To the left of the front door of the property, you will find a key safe. The code for the key safe will be sent to you 48 hours before check-in, please ensure keys are returned to the key safe on Check-out.
At Percy Place we offer check in from 3pm and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 11am.
Percy Place is in a traditional, Victorian terraced street just off Fawcett Road, the property’s location is excellent with number of quirky shops, takeaways and a Co-Op in the nearby surroundings, a short 5 min walk from the property as well as access to the local bus routes. It’s just a 20 minute walk to Southsea beach, South Parade Pier and Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops, the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Wedgewood Rooms (live music venue).
Just a 10-minute drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants, bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Natural History Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park.
If you are visiting Portsmouth to work, everything is easily accessible from here. By car, the Naval Base, Airport Service Road estate, Broad Oak (BAE Systems and Airbus) are all only 10 minutes away, and Lakeside North Harbour, Queen Alexandra Hospital and Langstone Technology Park are only 15 minutes away.
